The Windows Cabinet Extraction tool for Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows 98 that is used to extract files and lists of files from Windows cabinet files.
These cabinet files are found on the Windows CD. The extract command lets you extract one or more files from the cabinet files - for example, if a system file becomes corrupt and you want to replace it rather than rerun Setup.
To display the contents of the cabinet file Win95_02.cab, type extract /d win95_02.cab at the command prompt.
