What is Microsoft Magnifier?

A utility in Microsoft Windows 98 and Windows 2000 for visually impaired persons that presents a split screen, with one portion showing a magnified view of the selected part of the other portion.

Users can control the size and position of the magnification window and the level of magnification, invert the screen colors, use the high-contrast color mode, and track the focus of the mouse pointer or cursor on the screen. You can configure Microsoft Magnifier using the Accessibility Wizard.
